Patient review policy
MyDentistPro publishes patient reviews to help everyone choose a dentist. This policy explains how reviews are collected, verified, moderated and published.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Who can post a review?
- Anyone who visited the clinic or dentist concerned, for themselves or for a child in their care.
- One review per patient and clinic. Your contact (phone or email) is verified with a one-time code; it is never displayed or sold.
- “Verified” reviews come from a personal link sent after a real appointment recorded in the clinic’s software.
2. What is not allowed
- Any personal medical information (diagnosis, condition, detailed treatment) about yourself or others.
- Insulting, defamatory, discriminatory or threatening content.
- Contact details, links, advertising or attempts to redirect to another practitioner.
- Reviews written by the dentist, their staff, relatives or competitors, and paid or incentivised reviews.
3. Moderation
- Every review is checked automatically and, when needed, read by our team before publication.
- A review may be refused or removed if it breaches this policy. Compliant reviews are never edited.
- Reviews are never sorted or hidden based on their rating or on the clinic’s MyDentistPro subscription.
- A clinic’s average rating is only shown once it has 3 published reviews.
4. Right of reply and reporting
- The clinic may publicly reply to each review, while respecting medical confidentiality.
- Anyone can report a review with the “Report” button; it will then be re-examined.
5. Your data
- Only your first name and last-name initial are published. Your contact is stored as a hashed fingerprint to prevent duplicates.
- You can ask for your review to be removed, or exercise your rights of access, rectification and objection at any time.
